Two studios, one desk
Barcelona and Copenhagen work as one team, on the same projects, at the same table.

When the Copenhagen studio opened in 2019, the easy thing would have been to split the work: one city for identity, the other for websites. We decided against it.
Every project is staffed from both studios. The same people stay on it from the first meeting to launch.
The shared table
There is a screen in each studio that is always on, showing the other room. Nobody watches it. But a question across the table is easier than a meeting, and the screen makes the other studio feel like the other end of the table.
The overlap
Barcelona starts later and finishes later. The few hours both studios are working are kept for reviews and decisions. Everything else happens in writing, which turns out to make the decisions better.
What it costs
More travel than we would like, and a calendar that needs care. In return, every project gets two sets of eyes that did not grow up with the same references.
